PURCHASING & SHIPPING

I understand that buying a piece of art can be a big investment and I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any questions please contact me in advance at jane@janejohansson.com

  • It will normally taken between 3 and 5 working days to process your order and to pack and ship original paintings.

    Please allow 1-2 weeks for Fine art prints, as these are printed to order although could be with you much sooner if that item is in stock.

    Your order will be shipped via Royal Mail or courier service. I will send it tracked and signed for, where available.

  • If you would like to purchase an original painting over £500 you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting . The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging this.

  • Yes, all paintings will come with picture wire/hanging baton already fixed and ready to hang. All you need to do is to decide where!

  • Payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

  • If you would like to pay by bank transfer which many UK customers prefer please contact me and I will send you my bank details and how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold immediately and unavailable to others.

  • Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

  • Items can be returned if they are damaged or incorrect . I will refund the cost of the item and the shipping costs as long as the items are returned within 30 days, are unused and are in the original packaging (unless that packaging is damaged in which case the items should be packed in a manner that will ensure they are safely shipped back to me). Before returning any items, please contact me at jane@janejohansson.com so that we can discuss any issues and hopefully find a solution.

    If the items are not damaged or incorrect but you decide that you no longer want them, then I accept returns as long as you email me within 14 days of receiving the items and then return the items in their original packaging within 14 days following the date of your email. Following receipt of the item I will refund the price for the item (but not the shipping costs). I can only provide a refund if the items are unused and undamaged upon their return.

    Where you are eligible for a refund, I will credit the card which you used to purchase the items.

    Please note that I do not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods.

  • Most of my paintings are sold framed and the detail will be on each product description .

    Larger work on cradled wood panels have a sleek subframe with a depth of 5cm and can be hung unframed - many people prefer this more contemporary look and it means it can be shipped without costing you more. Equally you can take it to the framers and decide on a style that suits you best.
