OPEN STUDIO - JANE JOHANSSON

Take a trip out to the beautiful Sussex countryside and join me for my first Open Studio event at The Cowshed. I will be showing my colourful horse paintings and horse prints plus works in progress. It’s an opportunity to see behind the scenes in my studio and talk about art and the process of making work and how I bring that horse energy into my paintings.

I am joined by jeweller and storyteller extraordinaire Julian Warrender with her amazing array of silver jewellery and figurative painter Tina Balmer with her beautiful oil paintings of flowers and dogs and Te Amo Totes with her eclectic handmade bags.

This event is part of Artists Open Houses which is part of the annual Brighton Festival.

The Cowshed is an old 1920’s original building complete with milking bays ! It’s home to my studio and during the summer months is turned into a gallery space and hosts The Cowshed Collective as part of the Artwave Festival in Lewes every year.
